Just making sure you are still listening!  Anyway, we have been doing some awesome things here at PCI if you haven’t noticed.  This past Saturday, some of us went up to Biola University for a day of training in God’s Word.  We talked about when “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).  Not only that, but we took some awesome pictures with the Jesus Mural (more pictures to be posted soon)!

Here are some things to get excited about:

• Our new series: Rooted, Growing, Serving, Sowing
• Guys’ Discipleship Group (Tuesdays 6pm-8pm @ Subway on Michaelson and Culver)
• Pumpkin Patch (Friday October 24th- WEAR COSTUMES!!!)
• All-Nighter in November!!!

For those parents who were at the parent meeting, you remember that we talked about Twitter: a great way to stay connected to what’s happening in the Youth Group!  Here is how to create an account and subscribe to the youth twitter and have text messages sent to your phone.  If you don’t know what we’re talking about and want in on the whole Twitter thing, post a comment or email josh@pacificchurch.com and we’ll be sure to fill you in!

Every teen and parent who wants to receive texts needs to create a Twitter account:
1. Go to twitter.com and create an account
2. Activate your cell phone to use with twitter.
# Log in to Twitter
# Click Settings
# Click Devices
# Add your new number
# Wait for the verification code to pop up
# Text the verification code to Twitter at phone number 40404
3. Text “follow pacificyouth” (without quotes) to 40404
4. Stop or restart updates by texting “OFF” or “ON” to 40404
