Thanksgiving 5k Race

Join Seth and Cole, (and bug Lance to join) for the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Dana Point. We’ve done the race several times. It’s a great course along the ocean on paved road, continues over the bridge along the marina and finishes along the cliffs. One of the most scenic courses I’ve ever run!

We will be doing the 5k (3.1 miles). There is also a 10k and a shorter race for kids under 12.

It’s a very festive atmosphere, lots of music and beach ambience. The race is professionally run. You’ll be home in time for family events and eating!

Discovering the New Testament

New Bible Study on Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the home of Lance & Carol Brown.

Have you ever wanted to read the Bible, but didn’t know where to start? Have you ever wondered how the New Testament fits together? Join us for a Bible Study that will introduce you to the wonderful truths contained in God’s Word, from the Gospels to Revelation. Each week we’ll take a look at some background information and apply a key passage to our daily lives.

Wanted: Singing Kids!

This year’s Christmas production, “Joy, Joy, Joy” has 2 songs that feature a children’s choir. If your child is school-aged, and is interested in singing with us, please contact Lance or Carol using the “Talk to Us” form on the left.

Time commitment includes:

· A few rehearsals during Sunday School

· A few rehearsals after church on Sunday (Dates TBA)

· Dress rehearsal on December 11th at 7pm

· One or more of the performances (December 12th & 13th at 7 p.m. and December 14th at 9 a.m.)

H2H - R.E.S.T. SUPPORT GROUP

R.E.S.T. is a support group for mothers with children that have emotional, physical, or neurological disorders. R.E.S.T. provides a SAFE place for women to Refuel, Empathize with one another and Share their personal struggles in Truth.
