Loving our Community during Covid-19

In addition to continuing to pray for those affected by Covid-19 we wanted to let you know a couple other ways you can partner with PCI in reaching out to our community during this time.
1. Meals On Wheels is a meals ministry to the elderly in our area. The demand for meals increases every single day due to the virus outbreak. Our vulnerable older neighbors are at risk, and we can help put them at ease, keep them healthy, and let them know there is someone who cares during this troubling time by giving to this ministry. They are asking for monetary giving at this time or temporary volunteers.
2. South County Outreach works diligently to provide emergency non-perishable and fresh food to an average of 50 families each day. You can support those in need by giving monetarily on their website or by donating the following most-needed food items:
  • Peanut butter, Jelly, Soup, Cereal, Juice, Canned fruit, Macaroni & cheese, Pasta, Pasta sauce, Canned beans, Rice, Tuna, Canned vegetables, Chili
To donate monetarily, go here: https://www.sco-oc.org/donation-form/
We are confident God has purpose and meaning through this season and will bring us through it stronger than before. He is our refuge and strength!
Know that your church staff is praying for you regularly both for protection from the virus and its economic effects on our families. If you or anyone you know gets sick or loses a job and needs help, please let us know.
