Please join the PCI women for a hands-on sourdough making experience with our resident sourdough guru, Michelle Sam of Sammy Wong’s Kitchen!

The class is free, but you will need to bring some items with you for the class to be worthwhile (see list below).

What to bring:

(Optional): 100g levain (AKA “active starter” or “preferment”) – If you don’t have this, we will supply it.

5 lbs King Arthur bread flour

5 lbs King Arthur whole wheat flour

Digital Scale – sammywongskitchen

Bread Banneton Set – sammywongskitchen

6-Quart Round Food Storage Container with Lid – sammywongskitchen

Small / medium disposable take-out containers to take some starter home if you don’t already have some.

Don’t need to bring to class, but eventually, you will need: 

Cast Iron Skillet and Dutch Oven Set – sammywongskitchen

Parchment Paper – sammywongskitchen
