Women of the Bible: Mary & Martha

Most of us don’t struggle with laziness. We are busy, productive, optimized and somewhere in all of that activity, the most important relationship we have quietly grows thin. We keep doing things for God while spending less and less time with him. And we don’t notice the switch has happened until something breaks. That’s Martha’s story. She opened her home to Jesus. She served him faithfully. She did everything right. And she was coming apart at the seams.
