Children are asking big questions long before they know how to say them out loud.
Am I safe?
Am I loved?
Do I matter?
Does God see me?
Where do I belong?
One of the great privileges of children’s ministry is that we get to answer those questions, week after week, not only with words, but with presence, patience, Scripture, songs, crafts, snacks and smiles.
At Pacific Church of Irvine, we want our children to know they are not an afterthought. They are not simply being watched while adults “do church.” They are part of the church. They are seen, loved, and invited to know Jesus.
That means we want our classrooms to be safe, joyful, and centered on the good news of Jesus. We want children to learn that God made them, loves them, listens to them, and calls them to follow Him. We want them to know that the Bible is not just a book of old stories, but God’s Word that points us to Jesus and teaches us how to live.
And we want parents to know they are not discipling their kids alone. The church is here to come alongside families, encourage them, pray for them, and help build a foundation of faith.
Every Sunday matters. Every volunteer matters. Every child matters.
Because every child needs to hear, again and again: you are beloved by God.
