Kids Church on Sunday

9:30-10:45am

Our goal in Kids Church is that your child will feel loved and accepted, and that they'll grow in their relationship with God. While partnering with you in teaching your children to live like Christ, your child will read from the Bible and engage in fun activities each week. They will be encouraged to memorize Scripture and love others like Jesus and tell their friends about Him. They will want to come back each week for more!

We have three different classrooms:

  • Infants - 2 yrs. in Room 105
  • Ages 2-4 in room 102
  • Kinder - 5th Grade in Room 101

All children are welcome to join their families for worship in the sanctuary and will be dismissed before the sermon to their classroom. Children ages 0-4 can be dropped off at the beginning of service to room 105 (9:15-9:30).

Elementary Curriculum

We are excited to begin using the New City Catechism in our lesson plans!

What is a catechism? Catechisms are collections of questions and answers designed for memorization and recitation—to teach others the core doctrines of our faith. The New City Catechism is a modern day resource aimed at reintroducing this ancient method of teaching to Christians today.

Parents can download the free app to follow along with weekly lessons (placing in children's mode will allow you to play songs with your kids throughout the week). Each of the 52 weekly lessons focus on a biblical concept and include:

  • Question/answer
  • Bible verse
  • Commentary
  • Prayer

Preschool Curriculum

We are excited to be using The Rhyme Bible Storybook in our preschool class which brings classic Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments to life, retold in rhyme so that children are enthusiastic to read along, excited to read aloud, and, most importantly, eager to remember their favorite Scripture verses.

Storybook Bibles are wonderful ways for young children to begin their journey into knowing and loving God’s Word. It is ideal for preschool ages and we love to include worship, prayer and a craft each week for our little ones each week.
